Hi, I'm Leighana! If you're new here, let me tell you a bit about myself.



At first glance, you might think I'm just a photographer but that is just a fraction of my story...

I'm a born and raised Maryland gal who enjoys the stillness of the countryside, hiking out at our beautiful Maryland State Parks, and has spent endless summers vacationing at the beach.


I've always been a hobbyist with my camera, as a child I could be found at horse shows either riding or with my camera ring side watching and photographing my friends. In 2020 I decided to push my skills and began offering my time behind the camera to family and friends.


Over the last six years I have thoroughly enjoyed capturing engagements, pregnancies, holiday photos, family portraits, weddings and so many other moments. Now I have the wonderful opportunity to make so many new connections through this work! 2025 was a break through year for my and my business; I opened my first senior rep team and I was fortunate enough to capture my first wedding! I am so thankful to all of the wonderful people who have entrusted me to photograph such special moments in their lives.


I would love to pursue photography full-time, but for the time being, this is the work that brings me joy. My typical days include managing geographic data and creating maps, running, and loving my animals.

From your first inquiry to enjoying your final gallery I'm here to make the process simple, fun, and as 'you' as possible. I believe that every session deserves to be as unique as the client I'm working with and this is evident in the galleries I curate. The best way to describe myself as a photographer is true-to-life; I lean in to true-to-color editing that feels timeless, emotional, and will allow you to relive these moments for years to come.

fun facts about me

I'm a big animal lover. Together, my fiancé and I have a chocolate lab, a dalmatian, a cat, and a horse.

I'm drawn to and inspired by nature - some of my favorite moments have involved the warm glow of the morning and evening sun, the waves crashing along the coastline, and the leaves rustling in the wind.

I can't say no to a sweeet treat (especially ice cream). If you ever want to surprise me, I love chocolate or a yummy latte *wink wink*
